National Automobile Museum

The National Automobile Museum, located in Reno, NV, is exciting. The Museum features many types of automobiles, both classic and rare, that span many decades and parts of countries. Most of the cars showcased are from the private collection of William F. Harroun. The Museum officially opened on November 5th, 1989.

The Museum has four major sections: Western Car Collections, Classic Cars, R.V.’s and Interiors, and Mobility. William F. Harroun drove the innovative Model A Ford pickup, which helped create and popularize the National Car Registry. The automaker is currently involved in creating more updated Ford Model A’s. His vision and commitment have helped make his creation a legacy and preserved for future generations to enjoy. His Museum is still actively collecting older Ford vehicles.

Many of the vintage Ford cars displayed in the Museum are very rare and hard to come by. They are only available through an authorized Ford dealership or as a part of a private collection. People who are interested in owning a particular vehicle should make prior arrangements to be able to view or test-drive it. Many cars displayed in the Museum are only available to qualified Ford dealers.

The National Automobile Museum has been granted several honors, such as the “American Museum of History” designation from the U.S. National Park Service and a silver award from the National Council for museums and arts. It was also selected as one of the best ten schools in the country for children and adults to learn about history, science, technology, and culture. It was listed among the top twenty museums across the United States by U.S. News and World Report. It was also listed among the top twenty museums in the world by Time Magazine.

Visitors can learn a lot at the Museum. It features a recreated version of Ford’s River Rouge factory and an original factory tour. It provides a look into the history of Ford and the company’s evolution into one of the largest manufacturers in the world. The Ford Motor Company was started at the Rouge in Michigan, and it is believed to be the birthplace of the Ford model train. The exhibits in the Museum cover all areas of Ford’s history, from its history as a manufacturing company to its growth as a worldwide automotive company.

The National Car Hire & Auto Show takes place in January in Detroit. This is the largest automobile show with over two hundred vendors from fifty-five nations. Exhibitors from sixty-five countries come to show off their latest and most excellent cars, trucks, and vans, including some rare models.
